We will start zoom class meetings at the originally scheduled times, about 50 minutes long.
You need a zoom meeting ID and a password. These are on D2L under News when you login for a class.
You can use "smart" cell phones (Android, iphone, others) by installing the zoom app in the usual way. You can also do a zoom sessions from Windows, Mac, and Linux zoom apps, and you may be able to do it through a browser. Go to zoom.us and look under Resources for help on installation. Consult with FDLTCC IT if you have problems installing a zoom app.
To join a zoom meeting scheduled, start the zoom app, enter the zoom meeting ID, then press the button with Join. Enter the password as needed. I'll set the meeting controls so that you join automatically. You can mute your microphone, but I might "mute all" if there is some feedback--then you can unmute afterwards. I'll record class meetings then put these on D2L under Content for each class. Office hours won't be recorded.
I'm compressing video for lectures and meetings so that these are easier to download afterwards. Materials like homework, tables, tests, and such will be online from D2L. Download or view PDF files directly rather than rely on screenshots from zoom sessions.
